Carrying on a long family tradition of  fund raising for the Baby Harry Memorial Fund, the latest member of the ‘Mitchell’ family has completed the Brighton Marathon.

Lauren Mitchell originally started running with her Dad (Freddie) and Dave Downes  both as support to them both and to add more than a little bit of competition. On Sunday the 7th of April 2024, Lauren  completed her first ever marathon on behalf of the Baby Harry Memorial Fund.

‌‌‌ Having known Baby Harry’s parents, Dave and Lisa for my whole life it only feels right to run my first marathon for their cause. ‌‌  Lauren‌

Lisa and Dave have known our dear friends Freddie and Jane for many years and of course their daughter Lauren who we have known since she came into this world. We were both thrilled that Laurent chose to raise funds on behalf of  the Baby Harry Memorial Fund whilst running  in her first ever marathon. 

We all had a fantastic day supporting Lauren all the way.

She did an amazing job coming in at 5 hours 7 minutes.
